Gianni has been working in the real estate industry since 1993. He joined Savills in 2012 as Head of Valuation & Advisory and was appointed CEO of the Italian business the following year, a role he held until 2022, significantly expanding the Group’s presence in Italy. He then assumed the role of Chairman while continuing to lead the Valuation & Advisory division.
With over 30 years of experience in real estate, Gianni has developed a broad skill set ranging from investment and valuation to consultancy and asset management. He has worked both across Italy and internationally, working with leading players in the industry. He began his career in listed Italian companies such as Gabetti, before moving on to international After starting his career at listed Italian companies such as Gabetti, in 2004 he took on roles of increasing responsibility within international firms, including DTZ, where he led the Valuation & Professional Services department as National Director. Gianni later worked at ING REIM and CBRE Global Investors, holding senior positions in transaction and asset management.
